Design
Flat Lock is a wall system that is made up of factory-formed panels that are custom-sized into rectangle, square, or diamond forms and have a created interlocking welt around all sides. They’re put together by engaging the bottom edge of each panel in the top edge of the panel below and mechanically fastening the panels to the supports with concealed clips hidden behind the upper edges of the panels.
Standard panel widths for Colorbond or Aluminium are 330mm, and for Zinc, they are 430mm. These are designed to minimise wastage owing to coil widths (wider panels are available but may result in distortion or oil-canning). The maximum panel length is 3 meters.

Snaplock offers a sleek profile, perfectly adaptable to new architectural developments.
Snaplock panels give a similar finish to Standing Seam without the need for specialist tools for installation. Snaplock panels are designed to ‘snap’ together, offering a low fuss installation.
Snaplock is held in place with a clip, allowing for panel expansion and contraction. Making it a great choice for use in extreme weather conditions.
Features
- Attractive modern look with multiple rib heights available
- Concealed fixing method
- Minimal material maintenance
- Flat appearance with no stress added to panels, allowing for use in longer panels as the fixed panel details allows for more expansion and contractions

Snap Lock Pros
- Ability to mix fixed panel widths with random patterns within the same facade
- Custom pan widths can be provided for more design flexibility
- Snap Lock has an attractive vertical fin
- Residential and commercial applications
Design
Snap Lock requires a construction-grade substrate for all applications. When working with zinc, a constant ventilation gap of 20 mm beneath the substrate is required for wall cladding applications, and a 40 mm gap is required for roof installations (note, this is for zinc only). Before laying cladding panels, the substrate should be encased with a moisture-proof membrane. Each panel must be secured to the membraned substrate using approved stainless steel clips and countersunk screws.
